| Comments: | Mrs. Binda and Bikas, my two church leaders, left Kathmandu by Bus to visit Sukraman and to encourage him and to take knowledge of destroyed church. They will land at around 11PM and will be walking through Rivers and Jungles through, hope to visit Sukraman's Church early Friday. We did not have money; any how we manage to have one camera, bus fare and bitten rice. Please be in prayer for their safety as they travel and return. I am calling Sukraman to be with us on 26-27 May in Kathamdnu so that we can pray for him. (Mrs. Binda was Hindu Priestess before and Bikas a Maoist leader, but both now serve the church). | Comments: | Dear Friend This is a prayer request for Sukraman. Sukra Man, a leader of a fellowship was beaten badly and the church was destroyed by furious crowd of witches doctor and others in Makwanpur simply because their follower were converted to Christian. Sukraman went back to home from our Bible school this April (1-14 April 2007) and he preached Jesus to surrounding villages with fire and as a result many throng to the church and got saved but the witches found no follower and they were angry at him. So they beat him and there is scars and bleeding all over his body. Please pray that he, his kids, wife and the believers who are terrified would be filled with more courage to deliver the massage of the cross. Sukraman was sitting front at extreme right in my previous School group photos email. His church is two day walk from the highway in the remote hill. |
